Shop
The Shop is where the licence is bought and where the payment provider’s own pages are opened from. It is reached from Settings, About, and it is two cards: the licence and credits. Nothing is bought inside the application: every page that takes money is the provider’s, opened in the desktop browser, and the application holds no card number and sees none.
The licence card reads the tier and the licence from the server. A guest is no session, a free account is a session with no licence, and a paid account is a session with one. Under the tier the licence says which of the four states it is in: none, owned, subscribed, or subscribed and counting, in which case the card says how many months of the plan have been served of how many it owns at. A subscription that renews shows the day it renews on.
Two prices stand under it. One-time buys the licence outright. Subscribe to own is the same licence paid monthly, and once the payments add up to the one-time price the licence becomes owned and the subscription behind it is cancelled. Nothing is taken back mid-month: a cancellation moves the day it runs out, not the month already paid for.
Buy opens the provider’s hosted checkout. The page opens outside the application, in the browser this device uses, and never inside the window. What happens there comes back through the provider’s own notification to the server, which is the one place a licence is ever written; the screen reads it again the next time it opens.
Manage billing opens the portal. The server mints a link that signs this account into the provider’s own portal, where the payment method and the invoices live. The link is made per press and never stored, because it carries something that signs you in. An account that never paid has no customer reference there and the control says so. A server set up with no payment provider at all says that instead, in the same place: the wording is the server’s own and means nothing was granted.
A guest is offered neither. Both controls are inactive with the reason beside them: a licence belongs to an account, and there is none yet. Create an account from the identity control first.
Credits are drawn and not built. The card shows what a credit pack will be, and says plainly that credits arrive with the payments era. Credits will pay for AI the application runs for you, priced as what it costs plus a stated margin. Nothing on the card can be pressed, and no figure on it is a balance.
Try: open Settings, About, Shop. Read the tier and the licence at the top of the licence card, then press Manage billing. On a development server with no payment provider the line beside the control says so, which is the same wording every screen gives that state.
